Post-UTME Question Practice & Preparation

Reflection Academy includes a Post-UTME option in its past-question practice centre. It retrieves provider question sets by subject and year. The current practice form does not filter by university, so do not assume a returned set matches one institution’s screening format.

Start with the institution’s own instructions

Before building a study plan, check the current admissions or screening information published by your intended institution. Requirements and assessment formats can differ. The academy’s practice questions do not confirm eligibility, registration dates or an admission offer.

Strengthen the topics behind your mistakes

Use a short set to identify a weak skill, then practise that skill outside the question bank. For comprehension, identify the evidence supporting your answer. For calculations, write out the method and verify your result rather than guessing from the options.

Practise under a clear time limit

The academy offers a short timed CBT practice mode. It can help you rehearse navigating questions and returning to flagged items. Its timing and question count are practice settings, not a claim about any university’s actual examination.

Use results to ask better questions

When asking an instructor for help, include the question and the step where your reasoning became uncertain. Compare explanations with reliable learning materials, and report a suspect answer instead of treating every supplied solution as infallible.

A worked example to try

Reflection Academy original example—not a reproduced past-exam question.

Original English example: Which word is closest in meaning to “diligent”: careless, hardworking, uncertain or impatient?

Hardworking is the closest option. “Diligent” describes careful and persistent effort. In an actual passage, check the context before choosing a synonym.

Common questions

Are these questions specific to my university?

Not necessarily. The current form filters by examination type, subject and year, not by university.

Does a practice score predict admission?

No. Practice scores help you assess learning and cannot guarantee screening performance or admission.

Where can I start?
